His experiences and passion for science and engineering led him to Jesus, launching a lifelong pursuit of the what, why, and how God’s kingdom operates in our daily lives. This life-changing account of his journey and the many practical discoveries he made along the way will impact anyone unsure or skeptical of who God is and what His plan is for their life.
 

It is unique in that the stories often look at life from the viewpoint of a scientist.  Topics include astronomy, cosmology, particle physics, electronics, and artificial neural networks.  Other stories are from the author's experiences as a manager in a research and development environment or as a husband and a parent.  His discoveries about how these experiences proclaim the existence of God and what He is trying to communicate to us through our experiences are different than most books that primarily draw from the scriptures.  The book is aimed at both the non-believing sceptic and the believer seeking God's kingdom and plan for their lives.  And why.

David Pontzer is retired and lives with his wife, Jan, in rural Michigan on the shore of Lake Huron. His first book, The Whispered Shout, and now Resolute Joy, reflect what he has learned from his years of experience as a Christian, husband, father, and engineering manager.

David holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and enjoyed a long and fun career in Technology Development with Mars Inc. He and his wife, Jan, serve as Elders at The Clearing Church in Fort Gratiot, Michigan
